Job summary

Otis is seeking a Lift Repair Engineer for Enfield, North London. You will perform scheduled maintenance and service visits to lift units within your territory, ensuring safety and reliability for passengers.

Role requires NVQ3 in lifts maintenance, a valid driving license, and strong electrical engineering skills. You will work independently or with a team, liaising with customers on site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Lift Repair Engineer – Enfield, North London

Role Overview

Otis is growing and is looking for a maintenance mechanic for one of our entities located in Reading. Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator units.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory
• Work within your defined geographical area / territory, managing the portfolio of elevators within it
• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix
• Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation
• Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship

Qualifications

• Hold NVQ3 in Lifts maintenance
• Hold a drivers license
• Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering
• Committed professional, with safety as your priority
• Comfortable communicating to others
• Curious, adaptable, and capable of working alone or in a team
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools
