Job summary

OTIS LIMITED is seeking a Lift Repair Engineer for Reading (or Slough) to hold the safety as a priority while maintaining elevator units across a defined territory. You will perform 100% of maintenance visits, manage a portfolio of lifts, and respond to breakdowns with a focus on first-time fixes.

The role requires NVQ3 in lifts maintenance mechanics, a valid drivers license, and strong electrical engineering knowledge.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Lifts maintenance mechanics (or equivalent)
• Hold a valid drivers license
• Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering
• Safety-focused and professional
• Able to communicate effectively with customers
• Able to work independently or in a team
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of elevator maintenance and service visits within your territory
• Manage portfolio of elevators within defined geographic area
• Respond quickly to breakdowns with aim of first-time fix
• Carry out minor repairs to maintain operation
• Liaise with customers on site to build good working relationships
