Job summary

Otis Worldwide Corporation is seeking a Service Engineer to cover West London. You will perform lift maintenance and service visits, manage a portfolio of lifts, and respond quickly to breakdowns to aim for first-time fixes.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in lift service and at least 24 months of elevator sector experience, plus a valid UK driving licence and hands-on electrical knowledge. You will work on-site and liaise with customers to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in lift service/maintenance/repair required.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Minimum 24 months’ elevator sector experience.
• Hands-on electrical/engineering experience.
• Safety-first mindset and professional conduct on site.
• Strong communication skills with customers.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Comfort with electronic and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of lift maintenance and service visits in West London, covering areas such as Kensington & Chelsea.
• Manage the portfolio of lifts within the defined area.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns with aim of first-time fix.
• Carry out minor repairs to maintain operation.
• Liaise with customers on site to build good working relationships.
