Responsibilities

• Assist with the planned servicing and maintenance of passenger and goods lifts.
• Learn to inspect, test and maintain electrical and mechanical lift components.
• Support experienced engineers with fault-finding, breakdowns and minor repairs.
• Develop understanding of different lift systems, equipment and manufacturers.
• Identify worn or defective components and report remedial work.
• Complete service documentation using the company's systems.
• Follow health and safety procedures on customer sites.
• Build the knowledge to work independently as a Lift Engineer.

The Trainee Lift Engineer Role
