Job summary

Stannah is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to cover Cambridge and surrounding areas. You will service, fault-find and keep lifts running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team.

The role is full-time and permanent, with a market-aligned salary up to £53,000 (incl. OTE). You will manage a structured patch, complete required paperwork and uphold site safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Cover Cambridge and nearby areas.
• Service, repair and routine maintenance of lifts.
• Attend breakdowns and callouts.
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running.
• Keep sites safe and compliant.
• Complete site logs and basic paperwork.

Education

NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering

Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)

Working Hours: Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45; Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We're looking for a Lift Service Engineerto cover a route across Cambridge and surrounding areas.

You'll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Cambridgeand nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
• Full UK driving licence
