Job summary

Stannah Group in Cambridge is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to service, repair and maintain lifts across a defined patch. You will diagnose faults, travel the allocated route, and ensure safety and compliance day-to-day with support from a local team.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £53,000 (incl OTE), a company van, pension, life assurance, and a comprehensive benefits package. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00–16:45 and Friday 08:00–15:45.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working as lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance.
• Attending breakdowns and callouts.
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running.
• Keeping sites safe and compliant.
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork.

Salary Up to £53,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working Hours:

Monday-Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45
Friday: 08:00 - 15:45 (early finish)

We're looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Cambridge and surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch - servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch

• Covering Cambridge and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area
