Job summary

Stannah in Cambridge is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to cover Cambridge and surrounding areas, looking after your own patch with servicing, fault finding and keeping lifts running safely day-to-day, with local team support.

You will work on a mix of commercial, residential and public sites, with a structured route and a UK driving licence, NVQ3 in Lift Engineering, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience as a lift engineer (service/repair) required.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork

Job Description

We’re looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Cambridge and surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch

• Covering Cambridge and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
• Full UK driving licence

Lift Engineer Responsibilities
