Job summary

Stannah is seeking a skilled Lift Engineer to service and repair lifts across a defined patch, with a focus on safety and reliability. You will manage routine maintenance, fault finding and responsive breakdown support within a local team.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence; a structured route and company van support are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance.
• Attending breakdowns and callouts.
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running.
• Keeping sites safe and compliant.
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork.

Friday: 08:00 - 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for aLift Service Engineerto cover a route across Bury St Edmundsand surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Bury St Edmundsand nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork
