Job summary

Stannah is seeking a Lift Engineer to cover a patch across Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas. You will service lifts, diagnose faults, and keep systems running safely day to day, with support from a local team when needed.

The role offers a market-aligned salary up to £53,000 (incl OTE) with a structured route and regular hours. You will mainly stay within your allocated area, servicing a mix of commercial, residential and public sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience servicing and repairing lifts.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance of lifts.
• Attending breakdowns and callouts to quickly restore operation.
• Fault finding to diagnose issues and return lifts to working order.
• Keeping sites safe, compliant and documenting work with logs.
• Complete site paperwork and logs as required.

Salary Up to £53,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45
Friday: 08:00 - 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for aLift Service Engineerto cover a route across Bury St Edmundsand surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch - servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Bury St Edmundsand nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork

Qualifications

Lift Engineer Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
• Full UK driving licence
