Job summary

Stannah is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to cover Guildford and surrounding areas. You will service lifts, perform fault finding, and keep systems running safely with support from a local team.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent), proven lift engineering experience in service/repair, and a full UK driving licence. A company van is provided as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Service lifts across the Guildford patch and surrounding areas.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting to restore lifts safely.
• Carry out routine maintenance and servicing to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Attend breakdowns and callouts as required.
• Complete site logs and basic paperwork.

Lift Engineer Jobs in Guildford at Stannah - Join Our Team!

Salary Up to £53,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

We're looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Guildford and surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch - servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Guildford and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
• Full UK driving licence
