Job summary

Stannah Group is seeking a Lift Engineer to cover a route across Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas. The role is full-time and permanent with a salary up to £53,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience.

You will work a structured route with regular hours (Mon-Thu 08:00–16:45, Fri 08:00–15:45) and are responsible for servicing, repairs, breakdowns, fault finding, and site safety. Company van provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork

Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for aLift Service Engineerto cover a route across Bury St Edmundsand surrounding areas.

Your Patch:

• Covering Bury St Edmundsand nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork

Qualifications

Lift Engineer Requirements:
