Job summary

Stannah Group in Glasgow is seeking a skilled Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Glasgow and surrounding areas. You will service lifts, fault-find and keep sites safe day-to-day, with support from a local team when needed.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £60,000 (incl OTE) and a structured schedule with early finish on Friday. A full UK driving licence is required and NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair) is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance of lifts.
• Attending breakdowns and callouts to restore operation.
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running safely.
• Keeping sites safe and compliant, with necessary paperwork.
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork.

Stannah | Full-Time | Permanent

Salary Up to £60,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working Hours:

Monday-Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45
Friday: 08:00 - 15:45 (early finish)

We're looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Glasgow and surrounding areas.

You'll be looking after your own patch - servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Glasgow and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:
