Job summary

Stannah Group is seeking a Lift Engineer to cover Edinburgh and surrounding areas. The role is full-time with a salary up to £60,000 (incl OTE), based on skills and experience.

You will service, repair and maintain lifts, handle fault finding, and keep sites Safe and compliant day-to-day, with local team support as needed. This position requires a comprehensive Lift engineering background and NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Lift engineering background with hands-on servicing experience.
• NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent required.
• Ability to service, repair and maintain lifts safely and compliantly.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance on lifts.
• Attending breakdowns and callouts to restore operations.
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running.
• Keeping sites safe and compliant with standards.
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork.

Job Description

Lift Engineer Jobs in Edinburgh at Stannah - Join Our Team! Stannah is a Full-Time Permanent. Salary Up to £60,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level. Working Hours: Monday-Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45 Friday: 08:00 - 15:45 (early finish). We're looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Edinburgh and surrounding areas. You'll be looking after your own patch - servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch

• Covering Edinburgh and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area

Lift Engineer Responsibilities
