Job summary

Stannah Group is seeking a Lift Engineer to cover Edinburgh and surrounding areas on a full-time, permanent basis. You will service lifts, diagnose faults, and ensure safe, compliant operation across a defined patch, with support from a local team when needed.

The position offers a market-aligned salary with benefits and a structured route, primarily servicing commercial, residential, and public sites in your area.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance.
• Attending breakdowns and callouts.
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running.
• Keeping sites safe and compliant. Completing site logs and basic paperwork.

Lift Engineer Jobs in Edinburgh at Stannah - Join Our Team!

Stannah | Full-Time | Permanent

Salary Up to £60,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45 Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Edinburgh and surrounding areas. You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Edinburgh and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:
