Job summary

Oakland Care is seeking a creative Lifestyles Team Leader at Lambwood Heights, Chigwell, to plan and deliver engaging activities for residents, reflecting their interests and life stories. You will lead the Lifestyles Team, coordinate daily events, and work closely with care staff and families to create welcoming, inclusive experiences.

This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role includes a dayshift pattern, £15 per hour, and a supportive environment that values compassion, teamwork, and resident

Qualifications

• Proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong teamwork and communication with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver meaningful activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
• Encourage active participation and inclusive experiences.
• Coordinate tasks and support the Lifestyles Team.
• Ensure a varied and stimulating programme of daily events.
• Work closely with care staff and families to understand residents’ backgrounds and preferences.
• Share best practices and encourage staff involvement in activities.
