Oakland Care in Lambwood Heights, Chigwell, is seeking an inspiring Lifestyles Team Leader to plan and deliver meaningful activities for residents, coordinating the Lifestyles Team to create a varied, person-centred programme reflecting interests and life stories.

This role requires a fun, outgoing approach, strong teamwork, and excellent communication to enhance wellbeing and participation in daily events and special occasions.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enjoyable activities for residents.
• Ability to coordinate a small team and assign tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering meaningful activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
• Encouraging active participation and creating inclusive experiences.
• Coordinating tasks and supporting the Lifestyles Team.
• Ensuring a varied and stimulating programme of daily events.
• Working closely with care staff and families to understand residents’ backgrounds.
• Sharing best practices and encouraging staff involvement.
