Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver a varied programme of activities for residents, drawing on arts, theatre, music, hospitality and events to promote wellbeing, socialisation and happiness in our care home.

You will work closely with the Home Manager and regional lifestyle teams, lead volunteers, and build relationships with residents, families and staff while staying flexible to changing needs.

Qualifications

• A formal qualification in a relevant field is an advantage.
• Experience in care, community, leisure, hospitality or event management is beneficial.
• Ability to design and run engaging activities for residents.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a wide variety of daily activities and programmes for residents.
• Promote wellbeing, socialisation and harmony in the care home.
• Lead group activities and manage volunteers; build relationships with residents, staff and families.
