Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare Group's Sharston House Nursing Home in Knutsford is seeking an Activities Coordinator to create engaging daily activities improving wellbeing and socialisation for residents. You will draw on experience in arts, theatre, music, hospitality or event hosting to plan diverse programmes.

Reporting to the Home Manager, you will lead activities, manage volunteers and foster individual relationships while maintaining compassionate, person-centred care in a busy care home setting.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in leisure, lifestyle, hospitality or events is advantageous.
• Experience in arts, theatre, music, hospitality or event hosting.
• Ability to lead activities and manage volunteers.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with residents, staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement daily activities and programmes for residents.
• Promote wellbeing, socialisation and harmony through activities.
• Lead group activities and supervise volunteers.
• Collaborate with Home Manager and Hospitality & Lifestyle Manager.
