Job summary

The Wave is seeking a Lifeguard Supervisor to lead the safety team on one of its busiest Wavegarden Cove lagoons in Europe. You will manage guard rotations, run training, and ensure daily water safety checks and incident reporting.

You will hold a current NPLQ or equivalent lifeguard award and have supervisory experience in aquatic or surf environments, with first aid at work. Shift patterns include early starts, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Current NPLQ or equivalent lifeguard award.
• Supervisory experience in an aquatic or surf environment.
• First aid at work; pool plant operator certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead guard rotations, scanning zones, and rescue readiness across all session types.
• Run ongoing training, including surf lagoon rescue and spinal management drills.
• Own incident reporting, audits, and daily water and depth checks.
• Deliver pre-session safety briefings and coach the team on guest communication.
