Job summary

Bury Council Leisure is hiring Lifeguards to maintain a safe, welcoming environment across the leisure centre. You will join a dedicated team and deliver high-quality customer service while upholding procedures and standards.

Working as part of a rota including evenings and weekends, you will assist with pool safety, engage with customers and demonstrate professional standards at all times. DBS checks and safeguarding commitments apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Pool Lifeguard Qualification or commit to gain within 3 months (at applicant's cost).
• Strong understanding of pool safety procedures.
• Excellent customer care and communication with swimmers and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality, safe and welcoming environment for centre users.
• Work with colleagues to operate facilities efficiently and safely.
• Lead by example and demonstrate health, safety and customer service excellence.
