Bury Council Leisure is hiring Lifeguards to maintain a safe, welcoming environment across the leisure centre. You will join a dedicated team and deliver high-quality customer service while upholding procedures and standards.
Working as part of a rota including evenings and weekends, you will assist with pool safety, engage with customers and demonstrate professional standards at all times. DBS checks and safeguarding commitments apply.
Lifeguard Leisure - Leisure Centre
Lifeguard Grade 5 is currently £26,427, this will be pro rata'd based on working hours. There will be an additional matrix payment for unsociable hours working.
Bury Leisure is looking to recruit 8-10 candidates to work as Lifeguard's on a permanent basis with 5-7 positions on a rota pattern including evenings and weekend and 3 annualised hours basis to cover when required. Rota's and working locations to be confirmed for all roles.
As a Lifeguard with Bury Council Leisure, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, safe and welcoming environment for all centre users. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help ensure the consistent delivery of excellent customer service and a positive customer experience throughout the centre.
You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure that all areas of the facility and associated activities are operated efficiently, effectively and in accordance with established procedures and standards.
This role is ideally suited to an individual who consistently demonstrates the highest personal and professional standards. You will lead by example, inspire those around you, and maintain an unwavering commitment to health, safety and customer service excellence.
