Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a lifeguard for casual, as-needed hours across its centres. You will contribute to a welcoming, safe environment and deliver strong customer service to people of all ages.

Training is provided, and we value teamwork, flexibility and a positive, energetic approach to the leisure industry. Join a charity-led trust with opportunities to grow within a supportive community.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent; training provided.
• Competent swimmer with interview swim test.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team-oriented and able to work across teams.
• Flexible in shifts and able to follow manager instructions.
• Passion and energy for the leisure industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lifeguard on casual hours as needed.
• Ensure pool safety and customer supervision.
• Support staff and contribute to a welcoming environment.
• Assist in training and development opportunities.
