Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to join our team in England. You will help ensure a safe and friendly environment across our leisure facilities, delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of safety.

This part-time role (15–16 hours/week) includes a swim-test during the interview and DBS checks; training and development support are provided as part of our employee-focused culture.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• Competent swimmer; swim test will be part of the interview.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and to all levels of staff.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team oriented; collaborate across organisation boundaries.
• Flexible and able to follow instructions from managers.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.

Responsibilities

• Lifeguard duties to ensure safety and coverage during shifts.
• Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming facilities for customers.
• Deliver friendly customer service and support centre operations as needed.
