Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure friendly, clean and safe facilities for customers across our centres. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, safety and positive engagement with people of all ages and abilities.

Casual hours, with full training provided, and a range of staff benefits. A flexible approach and teamwork are expected to support the organisation’s mission to improve lives through leisure.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• Competent swimmer with swim test.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team oriented and able to work across organisation boundaries.
• Flexible and able to follow manager instructions.
• Passion and energy for the leisure industry.

Responsibilities

• In the role of Lifeguard, ensure the best levels of service for customers by providing a friendly, clean and safe environment.
• Engage with customers and colleagues to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist in maintaining safe and welcoming leisure facilities across centres.
