Job summary

Freedom Leisure in England is hiring a Lifeguard on a casual, as-needed basis. The role focuses on delivering a friendly, clean and safe facility experience for customers of all ages, with training provided to start.

Successful candidates will have an NPLQ qualification (or be willing to train), plus DBS checks and a passion for the leisure industry. This position may lead to permanent opportunities within our network of centres.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification, but training can be provided.
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team oriented approach, able to work across organisation boundaries.
• Able to work flexibly and follow manager instructions.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide lifeguard supervision to ensure safety and service quality.
• Offer friendly, approachable customer service to pool users.
• Respond to incidents and enforce pool rules to protect customers.
