Job summary

GLL is recruiting a Lifeguard for East Ham Leisure Centre. This role focuses on pool supervision, assisting customers and maintaining a clean, safe environment. As a Lifeguard you’ll rotate around the pool, deliver first-class service and support the wider team with studios, gyms and sports halls.

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude.
• Strong focus on customer service.
• Passion and personality.
• Knowledge of health and safety.
• Be a great team player.
• NPLQ qualification with up-to-date training records (preferred; if not, training can be provided with an on-swim test).

Responsibilities

• You will experience regular pool rotations.
• Supervising and cleaning the pool area.
• Setting up equipment.
• Deliver first-class customer service.
• Deal with customer queries.
• When not poolside you will support the team by preparing Studios, Gyms or Sports Halls and maintaining the centre.
