Job summary

GLL at Highbury Leisure Centre in Islington is seeking a full-time Lifeguard. This role is more than a job, it's a career, with a strong emphasis on swimming safety, customer service and teamwork.

You will rotate through the pool, supervise and clean, set up equipment, and respond to queries while helping maintain a welcoming, safe environment. NPLQ is preferred; training can be provided if needed.

Qualifications

• NPLQ training encouraged; training may be provided if not held.

Responsibilities

• Experience regular pool rotations.
• Supervise and clean the pool area.
• Set up equipment for activities.
• Deliver first-class customer service.
• Deal with customer queries and concerns.
• Support the team by preparing studios, gyms or sports halls and maintaining the centre.
