Job summary

GLL is looking for a full-time Lifeguard to work at Hatfield Swim Centre. This role is more than just guarding; it is a career with a charitable social enterprise that values staff involvement and community impact.

You will supervise swimmers, ensure safety, and help maintain clean facilities while delivering excellent customer service. Training and progression opportunities are available, and flexible working options may be discussed.

Job description

As a Lifeguard, your passion for swimming and love of great customer service will shine through when supervising our customers in the pool, as well as supporting the team in keeping our centres clean and tidy.

What you’ll do:

• You will experience regular pool rotations

• Deal with customer queries

• When not poolside you will be a key support to your team on a daily basis from preparing Studios, Gyms or Sports Halls for various activities to the general cleaning and upkeep of the centre.

This is a Full time permanant position. Hours of work will be negotiated with you in line with the needs of the service, flexible working may be possible, working from home is not possible in this role.
