Job summary

Nuffield Health in Wokingham is seeking a Lifeguard to supervise pool, spa, sauna and steam room areas, ensuring safety and a welcoming environment for members.

You will cover ad-hoc bank shifts, uphold pool safety guidelines, and contribute to a positive, health‑focused atmosphere. A current NPLQ or equivalent is required, with ongoing training records and a friendly, team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and provide ongoing training records.
• You have bags of enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• You are passionate about great customer care and a real team player.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy when using the pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents immediately.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.
