Job summary

Nuffield Health Bishops Stortford is looking for a friendly Lifeguard to help keep our pool area safe and welcoming. You will monitor the wet side facilities, respond to incidents promptly and support members with great customer care.

You must hold an NPLQ or equivalent, enjoy working in a team, and be available for bank shifts. We offer holiday, pension, and a discounted gym membership as part of a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Provide ongoing training records.
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Passionate about great customer care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe in the pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities.
• Respond to incidents promptly and follow Pool Safety Guidelines.
