Job summary

Nuffield Health Rugby is seeking a part-time bank Lifeguard to help keep our pool area safe and welcoming. You’ll monitor the swimming pool, spa, and steam room, respond quickly to incidents, and support members with a friendly, professional attitude; an NPLQ or equivalent is required and ongoing training records should be provided.

This bank role offers flexible hours, holiday entitlement in line with the Working Time Directive, access to the Pension Scheme, and discounted gym membership at £35

Qualifications

• Must hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Provide ongoing training records for certification.
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep members safe and healthy when using pool, spa, sauna, and steam room.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Welcome and support members with a friendly, professional manner.
• Respond quickly to incidents and ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed.
