Job summary

Nuffield Health Milngavie Gym is seeking a Lifeguard to oversee the pool, bank and wet-side facilities on an ad-hoc basis. You will help keep members safe and provide excellent customer care while maintaining Pool Safety Guidelines.

Holders of an NPLQ or equivalent with enthusiasm and teamwork will thrive here. We offer holiday entitlements, access to our pension scheme, and a discounted gym membership of £35.00 per month.

Qualifications

• Must hold an NPLQ or equivalent.
• Available for ad-hoc shifts and flexible hours.
• Demonstrates strong customer care and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool, spa, sauna and steam room to ensure user safety.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed, professional environment for members.
• Welcome and support members when using facilities.
• Respond to incidents promptly and follow safety guidelines.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you'll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you're able to provide ongoing training records. You have bags of enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Like us, you're passionate about great customer care - and you're a real team player.

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
