Job summary

Nuffield Health in Oxfordshire is seeking a Part Time Lifeguard to help keep swimmers safe and engaged in our pool, spa, sauna and steam room. Ad-hoc bank shifts offer flexibility, with pay at £13.10 per hour and the chance to develop your skills within a supportive team.

You will hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent, provide training records, and bring enthusiasm and a customer‑focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Must hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Be able to provide ongoing training records.
• Enthusiasm, positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Passion for great customer care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy when using the pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents immediately.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:
