Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to help provide a friendly, clean and safe leisure facility for our customers. You will work in a welcoming environment, supporting safe swimming and great service across a flexible rota.

No expert status required at start—we offer full training and opportunities to progress within the team. We value people from diverse backgrounds and are committed to safeguarding, equality and offering an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification is desirable; training can be provided.
• Competent swimmer; swim test may be part of interview.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and to staff at all levels.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the best levels of service for customers in a friendly, clean, safe facility.
• Support the delivery of safe swimming and public health standards.
• Work with the team to provide excellent customer experiences and cover flexible rota shifts.
