Job summary

Freedom Leisure in England is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure high standards of service for our customers in welcoming, safe facilities within a network of leisure centres. You will be trained to deliver excellent customer experiences and uphold safety and cleanliness across our venues.

You’ll need to swim competently and have or be prepared to attain an NPLQ qualification, with an Enhanced DBS check. The role offers flexible casual hours, ongoing training, and a supportive team culture across

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• Competent swimmer – swim test may be required.
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.
• An ability and understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues.
• To be able to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the best levels of service for customers through offering a friendly, clean and safe facilities.
• Support swim teachers to help improve swimming outcomes where needed.
