Job summary

Freedom Leisure is hiring Lifeguards to ensure safe, clean and welcoming pool and gym facilities across our sites. Training will be provided, with a focus on customer service and safety. You may join a team that values inclusion, development, and flexible hours to fit around community needs.

Applicants should be able to swim competently; the role offers entry into a supportive leisure network with progression opportunities and DBS checks conducted as part of the process.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• Competent swimmer; swim test may be required.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and to staff at all levels.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team orientated approach; work across organisation boundaries.
• Flexibility and ability to follow instructions from managers.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, clean and safe facilities and service for customers as Lifeguard.
• Work with colleagues to ensure high standards of safety and customer care.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, supporting a welcoming environment for all ages.
• Participate in training and development to maintain skills and DBS compliance.
