Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Lifeguard for our Stockley Park Gym. This part-time role (24 hours per week) offers pro rata pay of £27,248 and the chance to help keep members safe in our pool and wellness facilities.

You will hold an NPLQ or equivalent, maintain training records, and demonstrate enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a strong focus on customer care while working as part of a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Able to provide ongoing training records.
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Passionate about great customer care and team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Keep members safe in wet side facilities (pool, spa, sauna, steam room).
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members using facilities.
• Respond to incidents quickly and follow Pool Safety Guidelines.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
