Job summary

Nuffield Health Shipley is seeking a part-time Lifeguard to help keep our swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room safe for members and visitors. The role requires a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and ongoing training records.

You’ll bring enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset to the team. We offer a supportive environment with opportunities to develop skills and grow.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates excellent customer care and communication.
• Works well as part of a team in a busy fitness environment.

Responsibilities

• Create a friendly, professional environment for members.
• Welcome and support members using facilities.
• Respond to incidents quickly and follow safety guidelines.

Lifeguard Shipley FWC | Fitness | Permanent | Part time £26,707.20 pro rata 8 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
