Job summary

Rolls-Royce Defence seeks experienced Lifecycle Engineers to support in‑service and maintenance programmes across product life cycles. You will work as the customer interface with operators, regulators and partners to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective operation of aerospace and defence products.

You will contribute to developing support strategies, improve lifecycle cost efficiency and influence product design with valuable in-service insights while collaborating across cross-functional

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a STEM subject, with relevant engineering experience.
• Broad understanding of Gas Turbine physical and functional characteristics.
• Numerate with strong technical and analytical skills; able to think system-wide.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop through-life service solutions with Operators, Regulators and stakeholders.
• Address maturity, lifecycle cost, reliability and maintainability through design changes.
• Prepare technical communications for regulators, customers and internal teams.
• Influence new product design with in-service experience and develop support strategies.
• Set reliability targets and monitor performance against them using historical data.
