Rolls-Royce is hiring a Lifecycle Engineer for the Civil Safety Centre in Derby with hybrid work (3 days in the office). You will lead investigation teams to identify root causes and containment actions for safety issues affecting the in-service fleet.

You will provide technical support, develop safety publications, deliver reports to regulators and customers, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across internal and external stakeholders.

Competenze

• Engineering or numerical degree preferred or equivalent with experience.
• Knowledge of components/systems functionality and numerical methods.
• Experience in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Familiarity with in-service operation environments and regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams of specialists, suppliers and customers.
• Good knowledge of AI and digital advancements would be beneficial.

Mansioni

• Management of known and potential safety issues (SAR & RT) and appropriate involvement in safety boards.
• Provide technical support to resolve safety-related queries and operational arisings.
• Introduce containment actions and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical surveillance and QA audits to support product improvement.
• Develop and approve technical content for publications and communications.
• Prepare and deliver technical communications to regulators, customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal/external needs.
• Gather in-service data and drive continuous improvement for future programmes.
