Job summary

IDBS, part of Danaher, is seeking a Solutions Consultant to lead pre-sales activities for its scientific software across Europe. You will deliver compelling demonstrations, configure IDBS solutions, and partner with the Sales team to qualify opportunities and drive wins.

You will work with global biopharma customers, travel internationally, and contribute to product and marketing feedback while helping customers accelerate their drug development processes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline.
• Experience configuring scientific/informatic software (LIMS/LES/ELN).
• Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate with scientists, IT, and management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• 2–5+ years in biopharma environments or life sciences roles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver value-based product demonstrations in person, remote, and at conferences.
• Create demo content to support presales efforts.
• Lead pre-sales activities (demos, RFPs/RFIs) with Account Managers.
• Collaborate with Sales to qualify customer needs and drive deals to closure.
• Provide feedback to Product Management and Marketing on customer needs and trends.
