Job summary

BakerHicks is seeking an experienced Planner to support a major EPCM framework project at a client’s life sciences facility in Barnard Castle. You will develop, maintain, and report on project schedules, ensuring alignment with contracts and internal procedures while working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and client stakeholders.

This role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the confidence to engage with multidisciplinary teams and clients, with a minimum

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple project schedules in engineering or construction.
• Proven Primavera P6 experience is essential.
• Experience in Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical environments is preferred.
• Able to work onsite at Barnard Castle a minimum of 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and report multiple project schedules for EPCM projects.
• Integrate schedule updates and progress data accurately.
• Monitor performance against baselines and identify variances.
• Prepare regular programme reports highlighting progress, risks and mitigations.
• Support resource planning and workload forecasting with project teams.
• Identify schedule risks and contribute to contingency planning.
• Participate in project meetings and act as planning lead for the team.
• Ensure schedules comply with contractual and governance requirements.
