Job summary

Search Consultancy Ltd. is actively recruiting a Planner to manage build projects across the North East of England.

The role involves developing and maintaining detailed schedules using Primavera P6, coordinating with Project Managers, Design Managers and Commercial Teams to ensure realistic programmes. You will monitor progress, forecast milestones and deliver critical reports to senior management and clients.

Qualifications

• Degree-educated in civil engineering.
• 5+ years' site experience desirable before preconstruction.
• Civil engineering experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage several build projects across the North East of England.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 (or similar).
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Design Managers, and Commercial Teams to keep programmes realistic and aligned with objectives.
• Monitor progress, forecast milestones, and provide reports and recovery plans to senior management and clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction planning, tender programmes, and resource loading for future bids.
