Job summary

BakerHicks is seeking an experienced Planner to support a major EPCM framework project at a client’s life sciences facility in Barnard Castle. This hands-on role develops, manages, and controls project schedules with integrated project teams to keep complex engineering programs on track.

You will work with Project Managers, Engineers and client stakeholders to provide timely schedule information, identify risks early, and ensure governance and regulatory requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple project schedules concurrently in engineering or construction projects.
• Proven experience using Primavera P6 is essential for this role.
• Experience in Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical environments is preferred.
• The ability to work in a regulated, client-facing environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain robust project schedules for EPCM projects.
• Integrate schedule updates, changes, and progress data accurately and consistently.
• Monitor project performance against baseline schedules and identify variances.
• Prepare regular programme reports highlighting progress, risks, and mitigations.
• Support resource planning and workload forecasting with project teams.
• Identify schedule risks and contribute to contingency planning.
• Contribute in project meetings and act as a planning contact for the team.
• Ensure schedules comply with contractual and internal governance requirements.
