Job summary

Accenture Construct seeks a seasoned Construction Manager to lead construction and renovation projects in QC laboratories, pharma facilities and cleanrooms. You will oversee field execution from planning to turnover, ensuring alignment with scope, budget and schedule while coordinating with engineering, quality, validation and client teams.

You will manage multiple contractors, drive safety and compliance, and support GMP/non-GMP environments with minimal disruption in active facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in construction management for regulated life sciences facilities.
• 10 years’ experience managing multiple contractors and budgets in complex environments.
• Industry experience in pharma, biotech, labs, GMP or regulated manufacturing.
• Technical knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, electrical and lab utilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction and renovation projects for QC labs, pharma facilities and cleanrooms.
• Manage field execution from planning through turnover against scope, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate daily activities with engineering, quality, validation, commissioning, EHS, operations, contractors and clients.
• Oversee contractor performance, field resources and site logistics for efficient delivery in active facilities.
• Conduct site walk-downs, readiness reviews, safety audits, and contractor alignment discussions.
• Support GMP and non-GMP environments while minimizing disruptions and contamination risk.
• Apply knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC controls, cleanroom infrastructure and lab equipment installations.
• Identify risks, resolve field issues and provide accurate project status updates.
• Coordinate commissioning, qualification, validation readiness, punch lists, and documentation turnover.
