Job summary

Scitech-EKIUM is seeking a Construction Project Manager to run construction projects, lead site teams and manage contractors and suppliers across the UK. A visible site presence and strong safety leadership are essential to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role covers programme, cost, change and contractual matters with responsibility for CDM 2015, Building Regulations and quality procedures. Based at Godalming with frequent UK travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or equivalent.
• Recognised project management qualification (APM PMQ, PRINCE2 or PMP) preferred.
• Professional membership (MCIOB, MRICS, MAPM) or equivalent experience.
• Current SMSTS and CSCS card.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning tools (MS Project or Asta Powerproject).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project and site teams to deliver on time, within budget and to required quality.
• Manage contractors and suppliers and act as first escalation point for technical, programme, health & safety, quality and client matters.
• Oversee project controls, costs, changes and contractual matters in collaboration with PMO and design/engineering teams.
• Mentor and develop site teams, drive continuous improvement and build cross-functional relationships.
