Job summary

IQVIA Language Solutions in Europe is seeking a curious Business Development Specialist to identify and cultivate opportunities across pharma, biotech, medical device and CRO customers. You will research target accounts, initiate conversations and qualify interest to move opportunities through the sales process.

Collaborating with Presales, Account Management and Marketing, you will build a growing pipeline, prepare proposals and help shape multilingual solutions for life sciences workflows.

Qualifications

• Early-career experience in business development or sales.
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity about healthcare, languages, technology and AI, with a strong desire to learn.
• Ability to work toward activity goals and commercial targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Research target companies, market segments and key stakeholders to identify potential opportunities.
• Generate interest through outbound outreach, campaigns, networking and follow-up.
• Qualify prospective customers by learning about their needs, priorities and current approach to multilingual content.
• Build and maintain an active pipeline, keeping CRM records accurate.
• Schedule and support introductory meetings, discovery discussions and presentations.
• Collaborate with senior business development colleagues to progress opportunities through the sales process.
• Help prepare account plans, proposals and customer-facing materials.
• Develop understanding of IQVIA Language Solutions and life sciences workflows.
