Strong Life Care is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver meaningful activities for residents, promoting engagement and well-being in the home.

You will work with the care team to design, implement and review activity programmes, ensuring dignity and person-centred care for residents living with and without dementia. You will monitor outcomes, maintain records, liaise with families and the local community, and support volunteers and fundraising events.

Competenze

• GCSE English at grade C or above
• NVQ/HSC Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
• Level 2 Award in supporting activities provisions (Desirable)
• Dementia knowledge desirable

Mansioni

• Plan, organise, promote and implement a meaningful activities programme for all residents
• Motivate and mobilise care team members to support engaging activities
• Lead on the home’s newsletter reporting events and activities
• Maintain accurate records of activities and residents’ participation
• Regularly review and refresh activity programmes with the care team
• Communicate events and achievements to the Manager and local media where possible
• Build external links within the local community and support volunteering opportunities
