Royal Borough of Windsorand Maidenhead (RBWM) is seeking a Licensing Support Officer to join the Licensing team in Maidenhead. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of £26,895–£30,132 per annum and a generous benefits package.

The post reports to the Licensing Team Leader and involves processing hackney carriage and private hire applications, ensuring applicants are fit and proper, and managing payments and documentation. RBWM emphasises flexible working and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, including finance and payments.
• Experience dealing with customers face-to-face.
• Experience working in a large organisation such as a local authority.
• IT literacy with experience of common applications.
• Licensing experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process applications for hackney carriage and private hire drivers, vehicles and operators, including face-to-face appointments.
• Collaborate with Licensing Officers to determine fitness and propriety for licences.
• Handle payments and manage required paperwork and online administration.
