Job summary

City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking a Senior Licensing Officer to join our Private Hire and Hackney Carriage Licensing Team. This role offers a 37-hour week, a permanent contract and a flexible workstyle, with a salary band of £30,024 to £33,699.

You will guide and support Licensing Officers, oversee processes, and maintain high service standards. The ideal candidate has solid licensing experience and strong IT and communication skills.

• Strong knowledge of licensing legislation and procedures.
• Experience in Private Hire and Hackney Carriage Licensing.
• Confidence in guiding and supporting team members.
